• We do not currently take payments online. Orders are paid for on delivery or in store, and we never see or store your card details through this website.

• Standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and fulfill your orders (including packing and delivery of meat and related products).

They are: Supabase, which hosts the database holding our product catalogue and the messages you send us; our website hosting provider; and Google, which serves the fonts and the store location map embedded in our pages.
• We deliver our own orders. Your address is not passed to any third-party courier.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of assets (your information may be transferred as part of that transaction).

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including order fulfillment, legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Order and sales records are kept for six years from the end of the tax year they relate to, in line with Canada Revenue Agency record-keeping requirements. Enquiries sent through our contact form are kept for up to two years. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to those legal retention requirements.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The only cookie this site sets itself keeps our own staff signed in to the private area they use to manage the shop; it is never set for ordinary visitors.

The store location map in our footer is embedded from Google Maps, and our page fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading either lets Google see your IP address and may set cookies controlled by Google rather than by us. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may stop the embedded map from displaying, but the rest of the site will work normally.

Third-Party Services

This website is custom-built and maintained for us; it is no longer hosted on Wix. Our product catalogue and the messages you send through our contact form are stored with Supabase, our database provider. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts and embed a store location map from Google Maps, both of which can see your IP address when those elements load. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers.

We deliver our own orders using our own vehicle and staff, so your delivery details are not shared with an outside courier. We do not currently process payments online.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
